Services to the Public
We provide the following healthcare services to the military, and to fee-paying private patients who are 15 years and older:
Surgery

An operation in progress
ACC Funding
For those eligible, we have ACC contract funding for elective surgery and for hyperbaric treatment, both acute and elective. (See Hyperbaric Services below).
X-ray
An X-ray service is available on the premises.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy treatment is available on the premises.
Audiometry
We have an audiometry clinic on the premises.
Dive Medicals
Commercial and recreational dive medicals are performed on the premises.
Hyperbaric Services
Hyperbaric oxygen has a place in the treatment of other medical conditions in addition to decompression illness (the bends). For example, we use the chamber to aid in the treatment of chronic non-healing wounds. For more information, and to meet the team, check out the Navy Hospital Hyperbaric Unit's website.

Convalescence
Navy Hospital can provide competitively priced accommodation and care to convalescing patients. Delicious meals are prepared on site, and a menu is available daily. We are able to cater for any variations you may require or any special dietary requirements.
